How it works

Ante in. Chase your target.
Winner takes the pot.

Start a challenge or join a friend's, set the length and the buy-in, and put your money in. You connect Apple Health once, your numbers flow in on their own, and you're scored against a target built just for you.

1

Start or join & ante in

Create a challenge — you pick the length, the buy-in and the crew — or join one with a code. Pay your buy-in on the web; it goes straight into escrow, never our account.

2

Pick your arenas & sync

Choose what you'll compete on — weight, muscle, steps, endurance, consistency — and connect Apple Health so your Apple Watch and scale do the tracking for you.

3

Your data scores you

Readings flow in from Apple Health automatically and score you against your own realistic target. Show up consistently and your score climbs.

4

Winner takes the pot

Highest score takes the headline prize — plus weekly mini-challenges, personal milestones, and a shared pool for everyone who hits their target.

Fairness & the science

You're not racing them.
You're racing your own potential.

Everyone gets an individualized target built from current sports-science research — your starting metrics, your body, the length of the challenge. You're scored on the percentage of your own realistic potential you reach, not on raw pounds or miles. So a lean gym regular and someone with 80 lbs to lose compete on genuinely even terms.

Lean & already fit
Small margin to move. A few pounds of recomposition and a step-count bump is near the top of what's realistic for them — so it counts for a lot.
88%
of their own potential
80 lbs to lose
Much more room to move. A big drop is expected, so the target is set higher — hitting it takes the same real effort, and scores the same way.
84%
of their own potential
It's not who lost the most.
It's who beat themselves the hardest.
Targets are individualized and grounded in sports-science research — not one-size-fits-all.
The data & the score

Synced from your devices —
not typed in and hoped for.

Winner Takes All scores you from your own Apple Health data: the weight, steps, resting heart rate, VO₂ max and workouts your Apple Watch and smart scale already track. Connect it once and everything flows in on its own — there's nothing to log by hand every day. That's also what keeps it fair: real numbers from real devices, not honor-system guesses.

Synced counts full

Data that comes straight from Apple Health counts at 100%. It's verified by your own devices, so nobody can pad their numbers to climb the board.

✍️

Typed-in counts less

No smart scale yet? You can enter a number by hand — but self-reported data is weighted lower, because we can't verify it. Honest players never compete against inflated ones.

📊

Scored on your own %

Every metric is scored as the percentage of your own realistic target you reach. Log consistently and a streak multiplier lifts your score — showing up is part of the game.

Two scores, one game. Your Score — the % of your own target you hit across your arenas — is what wins the pot; highest total at the end takes it. Your Points (XP) are earned by showing up: connecting Apple Health, logging, keeping a streak, winning side-challenges. Points build your level and a consistency multiplier and keep you eligible — but they never buy the pot directly. You have to actually move your numbers.

Your Apple Health data stays yours. Rivals only ever see your percentage change and your rank — never your actual weight, body fat, or raw measurements.

Ways to win

More than one way to get paid.

It's built so it isn't winner-take-everything. The headline prize still stings to lose — but there's money for hitting your own target, winning a week, and reaching milestones along the way.

🏆

Take the whole pot

The highest score at the end takes the headline prize — the main pot plus every ante forfeited by players who missed their target.

🎯

Hit your target

Reach your own individualized target and split the target pool with everyone else who did. You can get paid without winning overall.

Win the week

Weekly mini-challenges drop throughout the contest. Take one and get paid — free money even when you're behind on the board.

📈

Hit milestones

Personal milestones pay out as you cross them, so momentum is rewarded early — not only at the finish line.

Trust & safety

A skill contest. Your money held safe.

Winner Takes All is a real-money competition, so we treat the money and the rules the way a real financial product should. Here's exactly how it's protected.

🎯

Skill, not gambling

You win by improving your own measured health — tracked by your own devices — not by chance. There's no wagering on luck; it's a contest of effort and skill. Void where prohibited; some jurisdictions are excluded.

🔞

18+ and age-gated

Paid challenges are for adults 18 and over (or the age of majority where you live). Age and location eligibility are checked before you can enter.

🏦

Entry fees held in escrow

Every ante is held by our payments partner, Stripe — never in the company's account. When a challenge settles, payouts are calculated and sent to players automatically, per the published Contest Rules.

🪪

Identity verified before payout

Winners complete identity verification (KYC) with our verification partner before any money moves. It keeps payouts clean and the contest honest.

🔒

Your real numbers stay private

Rivals see only your percentage change and your rank — never your actual weight, body fat, or raw measurements. What you choose to share is up to you.

🧾

One flat, up-front fee

A single transparent platform fee is shown before you pay. Everything else in the pot is players' money, held in escrow and paid back out to players.

Payments and escrow by Stripe · Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. · Full Terms, Privacy Policy & Contest Rules govern every challenge.

Straight answers

The questions before the money.

How is my score calculated — how do I actually win?+
Your score is the percentage of your own individualized target you reach, added up across the arenas you picked (weight, muscle, steps, endurance, consistency). Every target is built from your own starting numbers and current sports-science research, so it's realistic and scaled to you. Whoever hits the highest total % of their own potential at the end wins the pot — it's who beat themselves the hardest, not who lost the most weight.
What are points and levels — do they win the money?+
Points (XP) are separate from your score. You earn them for showing up — connecting Apple Health, logging a workout or weigh-in, hitting a daily goal, keeping a streak, placing in a side-challenge — and they drive your level, your status, and a consistency multiplier. Points reward the habit and keep you eligible, but they never buy the pot directly: you can't rack up points your way to the money without actually moving your numbers. Score wins the cash; points reward the grind.
Why does synced data score higher than typed-in?+
Data that flows straight from Apple Health — your Apple Watch, a smart scale — is verified by your own device, so it counts at full weight. Numbers you type by hand count for less, because we can't verify them. It keeps everyone honest: nobody climbs the board by inflating a number.
How do weekly challenges and milestones pay?+
Beyond the main pot, weekly mini-challenges (like "most steps this week") drop cash to the winner, and personal milestones pay out as you cross them. So there's money to grab even when you're not leading overall — and momentum gets rewarded early, not only at the finish line.
What happens if I miss my target?+
You keep playing for weekly wins and milestones, but your ante joins the winner's pot. You're scored on your own realistic target, so "hitting it" is genuinely achievable — most people who show up consistently do.
Where does my money actually go?+
Into escrow with Stripe the moment you pay — not into our bank account. When the challenge ends, the payout is calculated and sent to players automatically. We only ever take the flat platform fee shown up front.
Is this gambling?+
No. Gambling is betting on chance. Here you win by improving your own health, tracked by your own devices — it's a skill contest. It's 18+, and it's void where prohibited (a few US states restrict paid contests).
Can I leave? Do I get my money back?+
Before the challenge starts: yes, full refund, no questions. After it goes live: you can leave anytime, but your ante stays in the pot — otherwise people would bail the second they fell behind. You'll always see the exact rule before you pay.
What data do you need, and is my weight private?+
We read the metrics you choose from Apple Health (weight, steps, heart rate, etc.) to score you. Rivals only ever see your changes and your rank — never your actual numbers. Synced device data counts for more than hand-typed numbers, to keep it honest.
What if not enough people join?+
If a challenge doesn't fill by its start date, it doesn't run and everyone is refunded in full, automatically. Nobody plays until everyone's paid in.
Do I need an iPhone?+
Right now, yes — scoring runs on Apple Health. You pay and join here on the web, then play in the iPhone app. Android is on the list.
